The role

As International Client Manager at Anker Crew Insurance, you play a crucial role in achieving our (inter)national growth and portfolio performance targets. You contribute to the strategic expansion of our portfolio, focusing on both customer satisfaction and profitability. Not only do you bring in new clients but you also build lasting relationships with existing clients and maintain a network of international maritime brokers.

You monitor portfolio developments and carefully balance the interests of our clients and the goals of Anker Crew Insurance in every situation. Effortlessly switching between commerce and strategy, you serve as the key link between customers, your colleagues in the back office and claims department, and other internal stakeholders. You accurately map out your clients’ risk profiles and guide each client according to your account plan.
Thanks to your experience, you not only know how to identify commercial opportunities, but also how to improve internal processes and products.

Who are you?

  • You have extensive experience in a commercial role within a business-to-business environment, preferably in the maritime insurance sector.

  • You have a proven track record in building networks, client management, and achieving commercial objectives.

  • You can make strategic decisions with a focus on company goals and customer satisfaction.

  • You are an excellent communicator and fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • You are proactive and entrepreneurial, with an eye for identifying and seizing opportunities.

  • You are willing to travel on a regular interval and have experience working with diverse cultures.
